Installation of large flat screen display bundled with quality sound system that is able to cater to a large group of audience in the cafeteria area. The large screen display in the cafeteria will be hidden behind a wall panel when not in use.

The Challenge
To ensure good picture quality and clear sound system to cater for a large group of audience.
Our Solution
Altera wanted an intelligent combination of architectural creativity and high-tech functionality from our solutions. By combining these elements, the management created a wall panel which is able to hide the screen and speakers, when not in use. The audio visual system installed is an impressive feature, it is able to reach out to over 100 employees at any one time of video conferencing. All the equipments in the rack are kept in the control room which is located behind the screen. Manipulation of the system is done in the control room and the system is linked up with the video conferencing facilities in the boardroom.
The system is networked within the building, thus enabling the employees to have their conference in the boardroom or broadcasting it to the other employees via the screen in the cafeteria. The user will have full control of all the AV equipment in the boardroom via the touch panel, which is user friendly.
The audio system in the cafeteria will function to assemble employees for important announcements or to provide entertainment. It is important to ensure that there will not be any interference to the output from the speaker and the input from the microphones, in order to avoid looping and feedback. Overall, the system was successfully installed and their objective in reaching out to their staff is achieved.
