Objectives:

To promote effective speaking in classrooms by engaging students in communicative activities to develop oral proficiency.

To develop student’s proficiency in speaking includes knowledge not only of the language but also social and cultural norms, and the ability to respond appropriately in a variety of situations.

Project Requirements:

Installation of Digital Language Lab in 14 labs consists of 300 workstations.

Installation of Language Learning Module in 14 labs at Gambang Campus.

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) is a Malaysian government university. It was formerly known as Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan dan Teknologi Malaysia (KUKTEM). UMP has two campuses in Kuantan which is Gambang and Pekan.

Our Services

The installation of Digital Language Lab has been done successfully in 14 labs in Gambang Campus. The Digital Language Lab helps reinforce learning, the lecturers can use communication tools that are familiar to their students, such as text messaging or chat, to communicate with them in an engaging way and by creating more opportunities to interact in the target language. Students can reinforce their language in various activities. They can revise pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure and conversations. In addition, it ensures the best learning results of students as it is one of the objective why UMP needed the digital language lab.

The installation process of Digital Language Lab and Language Learning Module took around two weeks time. Our application specialist was there throughout the time for guided lecturers/users to use the module software.
